seventh annual Enlistee Recognition Ceremony

On Thursday, May 2, the Gloucester County Board of Freeholders held their seventh annual Enlistee Recognition Ceremony at Bogey’s Club and Cafe’ honoring 35 high school seniors from across the county that have chosen to enlist in the U.S. Military after graduation.

Annual Memorial Day Ceremony

The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders held the Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Sunday, May 28 at 1 p.m. at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Wreaths were placed to honor fallen comrades during the hour-long ceremony that concluded with a rifle salute and TAPS.   After the program is over, families were given a carnation to lie upon the graves of their loved one.

Scotland Run Nature Center

The Nature Center has been renovated from an artifact/museum type of display with taxidermy animals into a location that will house live animals within the next year that will include snakes, frogs, turtles, salamanders, and aquatic specimens that would be found at the Scotland Run Park and various parts of Gloucester County. Only indigenous animals to Gloucester County will be featured at the Nature Center

Rowan Integrated Special Needs Center

A ribbon was cut to celebrate the first special needs primary care facility in the South Jersey region as the result of a continued partnership with Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (Rowan SOM)
