2018 Farmer’s Market Voucher Information
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Senior Services will be distributing Senior Farmers’ Market vouchers/checks to 1,600 Gloucester County Senior Citizens this summer. Each eligible person can receive five vouchers, each worth $5. to buy locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs at 21 different farm markets and roadside stands in Gloucester County. An eligibility application must be completed when picking up the vouchers.
There is one application per couple, and both people receive vouchers.
To be eligible for the Farmers’ Market vouchers in June, the senior must have an annual income less than $22,311 for a household of one and $30,044 for a household of two.
Beginning July 1, the income guidelines change to an annual income less than $22,459 for a household of one and $30,451 for a household of two.
o Must be 60 or over and be a Gloucester County resident – must have ID
o Proof of Income – NO SELF-DECLARATION OF INCOME.
o NO BANK STATEMENTS
o Medicaid, SNAP, or SSI ID card
o Social Security Award letter
o Pension Income statement
o The PAAD card is “NOT” accepted.
