Free NARCAN training session held in Gibbstown, next scheduled for Logan
July 16, 2018  (Gibbstown, NJ) -- The Gloucester County Addictions Task Force hosted their second NARCAN Training session on July 11 at the Gibbstown Public Library to a full house. These training sessions are part of the county's continued effort to save lives while battling the opioid epidemic within the community.

July 13, 2018  (Woolwich Twp., NJ) – The answer to the age-old question of why the chicken crossed the road was answered on July 11, 2018 by the Gloucester County Department of Public Works.  "To get away from a dog," said Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger about why a chicken was stuck in a storm inlet on Sharptown Road in Woolwich.

New tuition free EMS EMT Training Academy to provide residents a chance to pursue a career in EMS
July 12, 2018  (Clayton, NJ) – The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders is excited to announce the creation of the Gloucester County EMS EMT Training Academy, a tuition free program in exchange for a three-year paid service agreement with GCEMS.  The first EMT certification-level training course will begin in September.

New hours at Gloucester County Animal Shelter designed for more convenient adoption times
July 2, 2018  (Clayton, NJ) – Beginning today, July 2, 2018 adoption hours at the Gloucester County Animal Shelter will change to Tuesday through Thursday noon to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday Noon to 4 p.m.
