County adds 68 acres of preserved open space and farmland, deeds property to Woolwich
July 21, 2017  (Woolwich, NJ) – Freeholder Director Robert Damminger and Freeholder Frank J. DiMarco presented the deed to 32 acres of open space and 36 acres of farmland to Woolwich Township Deputy Mayor Rizzi today, expanding the total number of preserved acres in Gloucester County to 21,274.

Cooling Centers Available at Gloucester County Locations
July 19, 2017  (Woodbury, NJ) - Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Jim Jefferson, the liaison to the Division of Senior Services, said that the county's Cooling Centers are available for seniors and other residents that may not have air conditioning in their homes. The Freeholders said that prolonged heat and humidity could present a serious health hazard, especially for young children, the elderly and persons taking certain medications.

Tickets on Sale now for Senior Picnic
July 18, 2017  (National Park, NJ) – The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholder’s announced today that this year’s Annual Senior Citizen Picnic will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 (rain date Sept. 21), from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Red Bank Battlefield Park in National Park, New Jersey.  This year’s  theme is a Tribute to American Band Stand.
