Tourism grows by 5% in Gloucester County
March 27, 2017  (Woodbury,NJ) – A state study showed that tourism direct sales in Gloucester County grewby five percent in 2016, the third largest growth in New Jersey last year,announced Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder HeatherSimmons today.

Security grants available for nonprofit and religious institutions in Gloucester County
March 23, 2017  (Woodbury, NJ) -- Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Jim Jefferson announced today that the state has made available $1 million in security grants for nonprofit and religious institutions determined to be at high risk of a terrorist attack.  Gloucester County is included because it is one of the counties that are not currently covered by a similar federal program.

Faith on the Front Lines – Mental Health and Addictions Conference for Faith Based Leaders Offered
March 22, 2017  (Deptford, NJ) -- The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and the Gloucester County Addictions Task Force are sponsoring Faith on the Front Lines – Mental Health and Addictions Conference for Faith Based Leaders on Friday, April 7 at Auletto Caterers in Deptford, NJ.  This free event is open to church and religious leaders of all denominations.


Gloucester County Library hosts Big Read kickoff party with a free copy of The Great Gatsby and a month long celebration
March 17, 2017  (Harrison Twp, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Lyman Barnes announced today that the Big Read The Great Gatsby kickoff party will be held on Saturday, April 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gloucester County Library, Mullica Hill branch.
