(Woodbury, NJ) Gloucester County parks are at their most lively once the summer rolls around and the warm weather allows for more outdoor activities for all families to take part in and enjoy. With so many events to look into, the 2018 Parks Events Guide provides a complete look into everything the parks have to offer from May to August.

Summer events include free movies in the parks, free concerts, free family fun shows, activities, camps, special events, and more!

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "The Parks Events Guide is a great tool for parents who want to find fun things to do with their kids over the summer. Free movies, family shows, and camps just for kids provide a great way to get out during the summer and have a great time as a family."

Not only does the Parks Events Guide offer a complete collection of everything coming up, it also includes locations, rain dates, prices for activities and camps, further information on events and activities, and an included registration form for camps and events that require payment and registration.

Freeholder Frank J. DiMarco, liaison to the Department of Parks, said, “Summer is when the bigger events of the parks have a chance to kick off, and with a majority of these events being free for the whole family, there’s something for everyone to do. Whether it’s attending the events or just exploring the beauty of the parks, we encourage all our residents to enjoy the summer weather in our beautiful parks.”

2018 Parks Events Guides are distributed by mail to residents. For any questions call the Parks and Recreation office at (856) 251-6710 or view the Events Guide here
