‘All Out Pack’ baseball team honored for national tournament win at Cooperstown
(Woodbury, NJ) – The All Out Pack 12 and under baseball team based out of South Jersey Bullpen which is located in East Greenwich was honored by the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders on Oct. 3, 2018 for their win at the All Star Village National Tournament in Cooperstown, New York.
All Out Pack was the first team from New Jersey to win this prestigious tournament.
Freeholder Jim Jefferson and Deputy Director Joe Chila recognized the All Out Pack 12–and Under Baseball Team that traveled to play at the All Star Village in Cooperstown, NY where 53 travel teams throughout the country converged to compete against each other in a week long tournament.
All Out had ten wins without losing a game in the tournament. They scored 119 runs and the pitchers only allowed 23 runs against them, combining to throw five shutouts, a .428 batting average and hitting 34 home runs.
The players trained throughout the winter and played in numerous tournaments throughout the spring and summer in preparation for the Cooperstown Tournament. Members of the 2018 All Star Village National Tournament are: Nick Brown, Vinny Davis, Jared Dziergowski, Jack Fitzpatrick, Tommy Formisano, Ryan Heenan, Josh Herner, Luke Hinkle, Kyle Kupsey, Corey Lyle, Nick Matteo, Cole McKenna, and Tommy O'Connor; and Coaches Matt Gall and Greg Santora
James Matteo of Matteo Scrap Iron located in West Deptford, NJ funded the entire tournament for the team.
