Abilities Solutions Employer Appreciation Breakfast

(Westville, NJ) -- Gloucester County Freeholder Jim Jefferson, Liaison to Health and Human Services, and Freeholder Heather Simmons, Liaison to Economic Development participated in the Abilities Solutions Employer Appreciation Breakfast at Riverwinds on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018.

Ability Solutions serves 1,000 people with disabilities or other disadvantages each year and partner with employers in South Jersey to identify job opportunities and provide workers for more than 200 businesses.  They also employ about 185 workers that provide services for over 40 companies in the South Jersey region as a fulfillment center and food provider.

Freeholder Jefferson said, "Abilities Solutions helps people overcome barriers to employment, and in order to do that they need to create partnerships with employers.  Their record of doing so for more than fifty years is why they are so successful at helping employees with different abilities work well with employers."

Freeholder Simmons said, “Abilities Solutions and its staff, employer partners and employees are an important part of our local economy. The employer partners speak very highly of the services and employees from Abilities Solutions and they continue to come back for more and that is the definition of a wining formula that helps keep the clients working being a vital part of our society.”
