Municipal Economic Development Committee wraps up 2018

(Deptford, NJ) On Friday, Nov. 30 the Gloucester County Municipal Economic Development Committee (MDEC), whose members include representatives from each municipality, held its final meeting of 2018 at Auletto Caterers in Deptford.

Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "Economic development success throughout our county does not happen in a vacuum.  We work with all of our towns and they work together to make sure that everyone's efforts are working cooperatively."

Freeholder Heather Simmons, Liaison to the Department of Economic Development said, “The MEDC is a great opportunity for our municipal representatives to bring new information and resources to municipal partners to further economic development projects in the county. It is one of many ways Gloucester County comes together as one unit, rather than separate municipalities, in order to better our county as a whole.”
