Meet and Greet at Nexus Properties talks small businesses and internships
(Glassboro, NJ) - Freeholder Heather Simmons joined Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce members on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at a meet and greet held at Nexus Properties on Rowan Boulevard in Glassboro.
Freeholder Simmons, Liaison to the Department of Economic Development, spoke to attendees about how companies can be reimbursed from the State for internship costs and about small business incentives available from Gloucester County.
Freeholder Simmons said, "Small businesses and job-seeking residents are two groups that we support as much as possible. Whether our support comes from incentives, resources, or just letting the community know what's available, we pride ourselves on keeping everyone on the same page when it comes to opportunity."
