Water Fest is on for this weekend- Sunday, September 13

(Clayton, NJ)—Gloucester County announced that the Annual Gloucester County Water Fest will be held on Sunday, September 13, at Scotland Run Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 
Water Fest is the County's largest environmental fair featuring animal exhibits, crafts, food and music during the free event.
 
Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said, "Water Fest is a fun and educational way to connect with nature and a fun way to learn about our environment. We live in a beautiful region and Water Fest will offer a lot of tips on what we can do as individuals to keep it beautiful."
 
This year’s festival schedule includes:
 
Live Animal Shows
12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
 
Canoeing and Kayaking
11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
 
Guided Trail Walks
12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
 
Music, Food, Exhibits and Nature Center Tours
11 a.m. to 3:30p.m.
 
Bird Walk
11:15 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.
 
Bio Blitz and Free Balloon Animals
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Freeholder Jim Lavender said, “Water Fest is a way that families can make the connection between what they do at home and in their communities and how it affects the health of our local and worldwide ecosystems.” 
 
Social distancing and masks are required while in attendance.
 
The event is free of charge.  The Water Fest will be held rain or shine.  Scotland Run Park is located on 980 Academy Street in Clayton.
