We hope to see some familiar faces come back to the shelter to help us celebrate another successful year of adoptions.”
Freeholder Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco, liaison to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, said, “This open house is a wonderful way for people to become acquainted with the shelter and all the great work they do for animals and the community.”
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter helps find forever homes for animals, and the Shelter staff and volunteers also participate in educational programs with the schools to teach students the importance of animal care, safety and the responsibilities that are associated with being a pet owner.
Until further notice, dogs and cats five years old and younger will have their adoption fees reduced to $35 while dogs and cats six years and older will have their adoption fees waived. Additionally, cats are offered at a buy-one-get-one discount.
