Pickleball Clinics will be offered at James G. Atkinson Park
(Sewell, NJ)—Gloucester County Parks and Recreation will be hosting Pickleball Skills Clinics beginning October 13.
Clinics will be hosted at James G. Atkinson Park in two sessions:
Tuesday, October 13 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday, October 15 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tuesday, October 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill,” said Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger. “The new courts allow for 24 individuals to play pickleball at Atkinson Park.”
Paddles and balls will be available. The lessons are free and pre-registration is required by calling 856-251-6710.
“Don’t miss out on learning one of the fastest growing sports right now,” said Freeholder Jim Lavender. “Instructors will take the time to teach your game etiquette, rules and form to make sure you’re ready to hit the pickleball courts.”
