(Clayton, NJ)—The Gloucester Country Animal Shelter and the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners are excited to announce the Bottle Baby Program at the shelter.
“This program invites those who would like to foster animals to take in a kitten, or kittens, and give them the love and safe home needed to grow and flourish,” said Director Robert M. Damminger.
GCAS provides the appropriate supplies and medical care needed to foster a kitten(s). You may have to bottle feed kittens if they require.
You will be required to work with our Foster Coordinator to keep up with vaccinations needed for your kitten(s). You must track the kitten’s progress while it is with you.
“Fostering pets literally saves their lives. It truly is one of the most rewarding and selfless things you can do,” said Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco, Liaison to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter.
Please understand the kitten(s) is owned by the Gloucester County Animal Shelter and can be removed from foster care at any time.
If you are interested in fostering kittens through the Bottle Baby Program, please call 856-881-2828 or visit www.gloucestercountynj.gov.
