(Newfield, NJ)—The Gloucester County Animal Shelter (GCAS) will partner with White Oaks Country Club for Howl-O-Ween on Saturday, October 30.
Howl-O-Ween is a 4-person scramble fundraiser benefiting GCAS. Players should arrive at 9 a.m. for registration. 10 a.m. will be the shotgun start.
“We are always thankful for community partnerships that benefit the shelter and White Oaks Country Club has come up with a creative and fun way to do just that,” said Director Robert M. Damminger.
Fees include $60 for members, $80 for club members and $90 for the public. Included in the price of playing is golfing, adult beverages, hole contests, raffles, Chinese auctions and a buffet dinner. If you wish to enjoy dinner but not interested in golfing, a $40 donation is requested.
“This is great way to get involved in helping the shelter and enjoy some golf with friends. We are looking forward to using the funds raised during Howl-O-Ween to get our animals into their forever homes,” said Deputy Director Frank J. DiMarco.
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter is offering discounted adoption fees. Adoption fees are only $35.00 for dogs and cats 5 years and younger. Fees for animals 6 years and older are waived.
GCAS open to view and/or adopt an animal Tuesday through Thursday 12 Noon - 7PM and Friday & Saturday 12 Noon - 4PM. The Adoption Office is closed on Sunday's, Monday's and all major holidays.
