The Gloucester County Board of Commissioners, in partnership with the Office of Land Preservation and the Department of Parks and Recreation are offering candlelight tours of the Whitall House Museum at Red Bank Battlefield in National Park, NJ.
“The historic Whitall House has been decked out for the holidays,” said Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger. “Visiting the Whitall House during Christmas is a wonderful experience for the whole family. It’s a great way to kick off the Christmas season.”
The public is invited to take a relaxing step back in time with this FREE tour of one of the nicest historical sites in the county.
“It's never too early to start getting in the spirit for the holiday season by finding fun things to do in the county to celebrate season’s greetings in new and unique ways,” said Commissioner Jim Lavender, liaison to the Department of Parks and Recreation. “There will be vendors on site to help with holiday shopping too!"
Visit the Whitall House:
- Friday, Dec. 3, 6-9 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 4, 3-9 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 5, 4-7 p.m.
Admission is free. There will be a pop-up holiday craft shops on the grounds of the park, offering unique handmade items made by local artisans.
