[ARCHIVED] Gloucester County launches online Mosquito Treatment form

Gloucester County Mosquito Division

(Clayton, NJ)—The Gloucester County Mosquito Control Division has launched an online form to automatically schedule residents for treatment by Gloucester County employees, according to Deputy Director Heather Simmons, Liaison to the Mosquito Division and Public Works. Gloucester County has offered mosquito treatment for many years, but the new online scheduling form will increase the speed with which residents’ homes are treated.

“Our Mosquito Division is committed to the health and safety of our residents. As temperatures get warmer, mosquitos are breeding and becoming more active,” said Director Frank J. DiMarco. “Taking action now can reduce the mosquito population, prevent the spread of mosquito borne illnesses and rid them of biting you all summer long.”

After completing the online form, county employees will visit your home to spray registered insecticides from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection.

“We work closely with the EPA and DEP to ensure we are using safe insecticides to treat the mosquitos. The Mosquito Division will notify you when they are coming to spray, so you can take precautions like keeping pets and kids inside and making sure your windows are shut,” said Deputy Director Simmons.

Simmons reminds residents that mosquitos breed when there is standing water, so minimizing water around your home is a key defense against mosquitos breeding and the transmission of mosquito borne illnesses.

Fill out our form at If you have any questions, contact the Mosquito Division at (856) 307-6400 or visit

County employees will always provide proper credentials when visiting your home.
