[ARCHIVED] Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site will hit 50,000 vaccinations this week

(Sewell, NJ)—By January 12, 2021, the Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site will hit 50,000 total vaccinations.


To date, Gloucester County has vaccinated over 37,000 individuals at the Mega Vaccination Site at Rowan College of South Jersey. 


“Since opening at the beginning of January, the site has been averaging about 2,500 shots a day,” said Commissioner Director Robert M. Damminger. “We’ve been working very hard to vaccinate as many individuals as we can at the Mega Site and we’re looking forward to hitting the 50,000-vaccination milestone.”

Sunday, February 7, 2021 the site was only open for second dose appointments.


At this time, Gloucester County is only able to vaccinate individuals in Phase 1A and Phase 1B which is preset by the State of New Jersey Department of Health.

If you are eligible but have not received your email to schedule your appointment, please check your junk mail. If you did not receive an email asking you to schedule your appointment in your main or junk inboxes, please be patient. 

If you come to the site with the intent to walk-in, there is no guarantee that you will receive a vaccine. Vaccines are only guaranteed to individuals with an appointment. 

The Gloucester County Mega Vaccination Site is staged at Rowan College of South Jersey located at 1400 Tanyard Rd. Sewell 08080. 

You can pre-register for the vaccine on the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System and you will be notified when an appointment is available to you:
