2. Gloucester County Animal Shelter Community Yard Sale

   COUNTY OF GLOUCESTER

   2022  PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

   WAIVER OF LIABILITY

   Exhibit Times: 10:00 Am – 3:00 PM    

   Event Date:  June 26, 2022                                          

   Event Location: Gloucester County Clayton Complex, 1200 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton 08312

   • Set-Up: Individuals will be permitted to set up starting at 8 a.m. on the morning of the event. All vendors must move out by 4 p.m. on the day of event. There is no electricity available. Individuals are responsible for their own set up including: tables, chairs and tents.
   • Parking: Each individual is given TWO parking spaces. Individuals can decide if they want both spaces for set up, or one for their vehicle and the other for their set up. If you choose to use both spaces for set up, parking will be available in the rear of the complex.
   • Cash Sales: Individuals are responsible for their own prices and collecting payment for their goods. Bring your own small bills and coins to make change. 
   • Fees: There is no fee to participate. We ask that all individuals bring a donation to the Pet Food Pantry or monetary donation day of. To view the Animal Shelter wish list visit https://gloucestercountynj.gov/211/Donate-to-Us or https://amzn.to/3vGdG9o
   • Food Sales Prohibited: Water and food may not be sold by anyone.
   • Goods: Gloucester County Animal Shelter reserves the right to remove anything from your display that can be viewed as offensive, inappropriate or derogatory. Please remember that this event is open to all ages. Sellers are responsible for all clean-up after the event.
   • Space Assignments: Spaces are not pre-assigned and will be determined as the cars enter.
   • Ground Surface: This is an outdoor event with some locations on concrete or grass and some locations may not be level.
   • Cancellations: Please notify the Gloucester County Animal Shelter if you are unable to attend after signing your agreement.
   • Independent Contractor: GCAS and participant shall remain independent of each other and nothing contained herein or done otherwise shall be constructed to create a joint venture, partnership, principal-agent, employer-employee or similar relationship between GCAS and the participant.

   2022 CRAFTER, VENDOR & EXHIBITOR INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS WAIVER OF LIABILITY

    

   I,                                  , the undersigned, (“Participant”) intending to be legally bound, for myself, and/or my organization, my/our heirs, executors and administrators, hereby understand, and thereby assume, all the risks inherent with my participation in the 2022 GLOUCESTER COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER COMMUNITY YARD SALE (hereinafter the ‘Event’).  I further, on behalf of myself, and/or my organization, my/our heirs, executors and administrators, hereby agree to indemnify, defend, save harmless from, waive and release, all rights, claims, actions, and liability I/we may have against the County of Gloucester, its employees, volunteers, agents and its Board of Commissioners, representatives, and their successors and assigns; and others, working on its behalf from any claims, damages, personal injury or death, illness of any kind, or losses suffered by me or my organization as a result of my/our participation in the ‘Event.’

4. Electronic Signature Agreement

   By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree and acknowledge that 1) your application will not be signed in the sense of a traditional paper document, 2) by signing in this alternate manner, you authorize your electronic signature to be valid and binding upon you to the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, and 3) you may still be required to provide a traditional signature at a later date.
