- If the woman is a resident of New Jersey, submit the application in the municipality where she lives.
- If the woman is not a New Jersey resident but the man is, submit the application in the municipality where he lives.
- If neither is a New Jersey resident, submit the application in the municipality where the marriage will be performed.
You may obtain a marriage application and the requirements needed through either the appropriate municipality or by visiting the New Jersey State website.
