The Labor Assistance Program (LAP) is designed to offer a court ordered, structured alternative to male and female adult prisoners, which will enable them to maintain employment, provide for their families, continue to be productive members of society and serve a penalty or punitive sanction appropriate to the crime committed.
Other goals and objectives include:
Family or child support
Provide labor and assistance to save non-profit agencies and public work entities
To provide the community a public service as a form of restitution
To provide the offender with a mechanism for paying court orders
