Movies in the Park

Nature at Night
Nature at Night is the newest program at Scotland Run Park, held on a Thursday night, once a month, from 7-8pm. Nature at Night is like a nature special that the public can come to! There will be presentations full of beautiful images as well as real animals on display. This program is free but due to limited space registration is required. Nature Tots
Join us as we explore a wide variety of nature topics from snakes to plant life. These lessons are free and include a related craft. Lessons will be held every other Tuesday from January 18 - March 15 at 9:30am. Due to limited space pre-registration is required. Registration opens January 3rd.

Bi-Monthly Bird Walks
Come search for the many birds that visit or inhabit Scotland Run Park! Volunteer birders from the Gloucester County Nature Club will be leading two walks a month in May, June, September and October. These walks are free of charge and will take place the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Meet at the Nature Center parking lot. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars. Mask wearing and social distancing will be observed.

Guided Trail Walks
Dr. Dan Duran will lead a nature walk every Tuesday beginning in April. Join us as we explore the trails around the Nature Center and discover all kinds of animals, including birds, frogs, insects and more. We will also explore the native plant vegetation of the park, and how all of these species fit into the larger ecosystem. This program is free to the public. Adults and children are welcome! Spring Paddles
The Scotland Run Park Nature Center will offer paddle trips this spring beginning in April. Come and explore beautiful Wilson Lake and the many wonders it has to offer. Both canoes and kayaks will be available. Due to the limited amount of boats registration is required (registration opens March 31st). This program is free to the public. Click here to register. Season Paddles take place the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from April through June, 9:30 am to 11:30 pm.

Free Canoes & Kayaks
Canoes and kayaks will be available at the Scotland Run Park beach area Saturdays and Sundays only, from June 18 through September 4. The boats are available beginning at 9 am and the last boat launch is at 3 pm.
