Property Fraud Alert
In an effort to reduce the risk of real estate fraud, the County Clerk's Office provides a free Property Fraud Alert website for homeowners to register to receive notification each time a document is registered in their name. When registering, be sure to include all possible variations of your name
Daniel's Law Portal
In November 2020, Governor Murphy signed Daniel’s Law, which amended the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) and other statutes protecting personal information for certain persons in public service. Specifically, Daniel’s Law is designed to expand protections from public exposure for personal information about active and retired judges, law enforcement officers, and prosecutors, and their immediate family.
The indexing of covered documents remain discoverable in online and in-person electronic searches, however the images and physical book pages are inaccessible to the public. If you are a registered title search entity and are seeking an unredacted copy of a covered record, please contact the Gloucester County Clerk’s Record Room at 856-853-3259.
Individuals protected under Daniel’s Law will need to register on the Daniel’s Law Portal through the New Jersey Office of Information Privacy.

Foreclosure Prevention Assistance
The County Clerk’s Office is proud to serve as a resource and referral service to assist residents who are experiencing difficulty meeting their monthly mortgage obligation. A Clerk’s Office staff member will perform an intake and refer residents to the appropriate government office, representative, or local resource for assistance.
The State of New Jersey offers the Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance (ERMA) program. Click here for an overview of the program and eligibility guidelines (https://nj.gov/dca/hmfa/erma/hub/)

Monroe Satellite Office
The Gloucester County Clerk’s Satellite Office in Monroe will only be open the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month. The hours are 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
Jim Hogan, Gloucester County Clerk announces the re-opening of the Monroe Township Satellite Office. The County Clerk is happy to be able to provide services at a location that is conveniently located to the residents of Monroe Township and the surrounding communities.
The Monroe Satellite Office is located in the Monroe Township Municipal Building and open every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 4pm to 7pm. For detailed information on the services offered, please contact the County Clerk’s office at (856) 853-3237.
