As a Sheriff’s Officer, your duties will include but not limited to:
Maintaining security in court proceedings.
Transporting and ensuring the safety of inmates and the public.
Enforcing laws and ordinances.
Preventing and detecting crimes.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be a resident of New Jersey at the time of appointment.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
